First Baptist Church Amarillo: A Custom Indoor Playground That Energizes Ministry

At First Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas, the goal was clear: create an engaging indoor playground that welcomes families, excites kids, and supports the church’s mission to reach the next generation. Worlds of Wow delivered a bright, multi-level play space that encourages movement, imagination, and community.

This fully custom environment features:

• A vibrant color palette of greens, blues, and oranges to spark energy and joy
• Multi-level tunnels and slides designed to promote exploration and safe physical activity
• A dedicated Toddler Area with soft play and age-appropriate features for the church’s youngest guests (their favorite part!)
• Durable materials and cushioned flooring to ensure long-lasting use and easy maintenance

The result? A space that caters to their First Steps preschool program, hosts birthday parties and free play, and a gathering spot for young mothers to meet and offer each other support as their children play.

We caught up with FBC Amarillo a year after installation, and the team reported that "things are going great with the new playground."
