Welcome to Kid City: A Bold, Urban-Themed Kids Ministry at DFW New Beginnings Church

At DFW New Beginnings Church in Texas, we had the exciting opportunity to help transform their children’s ministry space, Kid City, into a vibrant, engaging environment where kids can learn, play, and grow.

The centerpiece of the project was a custom indoor playground that encourages active play and connection. Designed with both fun and function in mind, the playground even includes a dedicated basketball goal area—perfect for burning off energy before or after lessons.

To enhance the overall experience, we also provided immersive interior theming throughout the check-in area, hallways, and classrooms. Inspired by the Kid City name, the space features playful artwork with simplified skyscrapers, road-like line art, and other whimsical city elements. The bright and cheerful color palette—featuring bold shades of orange, blue, red, and green—adds energy and excitement to every corner of the ministry area.

The end result is a cohesive, imaginative environment that makes kids feel like they’ve stepped into their very own city built just for them.
