Taking Flight at Symmes Township Library

Symmes Township Library in Loveland, Ohio partnered with Kramer Design & Production to create an engaging aviation-themed indoor play space that encourages imagination, active play, and family interaction. Kramer Design & Production then teamed with Worlds of Wow to create the library's indoor playground structure. Designed to fit within the library's available footprint, this compact two-level play structure maximizes play value while maintaining excellent visibility for caregivers and library staff.

The custom indoor playground features a curved tube slide, lookout bubble windows, multiple interactive gear activity panels, a Four-in-a-Row game panel, and a netted landing area that encourages exploration and social play. To bring the aviation theme to life, Kramer Design & Production incorporated custom Lexan cloud shapes throughout the play space, giving children the feeling of soaring above the clouds as they play. Finished in bright blue, orange, and yellow, the structure creates an inviting focal point positioned in front of the library's expansive glass windows, allowing visitors both inside and outside the building to see the excitement and energy of the space.
